Paul Smith Cufflinks

As Paul Smith grew up he had no interest in fashion and there was no sign that he would become the pre-eminent British designer of his generation. In fact Paul wanted to become a professional bike racer, however a very bad accident left him in hospital for six months. During this time he made some new friends who frequented a bar popular with the local art college students.

Paul Smith was soon hooked on the world of art and design and with a small amount of savings, and a lot of help and encouragement from his girlfriend (now wife) they opened a tiny shop in their native Nottingham in 1970 and never looked back. He has expanded his range from clothing into men’s accesories and jewellery, which naturally includes his range of superb cufflinks, and now wholesale in 35 countries.

Many of his designs utilise his famous signature logo and the, perhaps even more famous, multi striped square logo. In fact the multi stripe logo cufflinks have become some of the best sellers and set off a French cuff fantastically. Of course Paul Smith’s cufflinks and accessories also make liberal use of his unabashed British-ness, incorporating many iconic images such as the Union Jack, the Mini (and a mini striped cufflink naturally!) He also brings in his cheeky side too with his range of naked lady cufflinks and some gambling nods with several playing card designs as you can see below
